On April 30, 2013, the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) announced it had selected the second group of proposals from community-based organizations to operate health homes for high-cost, high-need Medicaid and Medicaid/Medicare beneficiaries starting July 1, 2013. The first group was selected in February 2013. The third request for Health Home proposals was released May 10, 2013; proposals are due July 12, 2013.
